Dr. Manish Goswami is a Consultant - Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist practicing in Siliguri, North Bengal. He did his initial Head & Neck Surgical Oncology training from the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai under the guidance of renowned Head & Neck Surgical Oncologist - Dr. Prathamesh Pai.
After completing his MS, he went on to complete his post-doctoral 2 years Fellowship in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology from Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute - Regional Cancer Centre, Ahmedabad. He has been trained by nationally acclaimed surgical oncologist Dr. J.D. Patel and Dr. Rajen Tankshali. He was also the co-investigator of ICMR study on Refeeding Syndrome in Head & Neck cancer patients.
He is also recognized as an Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (Chicago).
He also got trained in Trans-Oral Ultrasonic Surgery at AIIMS-New Delhi.
In August 2016, he became attached to Medica Cancer Hospital- Siliguri as the Chief-Head & Neck Surgical Oncologist. Since 2017, the Department of Head and Neck Surgical Oncology had started microvascular reconstructive surgery. Now, he is also attached with Balaji Healthcare - Siliguri as Head & Neck surgical oncologist.
He deals with all kinds of head and neck malignancies like - mouth cancer, tongue cancer, cancer of the jaw bone, nose, eyes, ear, voice box, throat, thyroid gland, salivary glands, etc. He actively conducts Cancer Screening camps in Siliguri and adjoining areas. During this period of time, he has operated on patients from West Bengal, Assam, Bihar, Sikkim, Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh.
He was felicitated by Foundation for Head & Neck Oncology during FHNO Annual Conference- GBM- September 2017 for his contribution in conducting scientific teaching of doctors in head and neck surgical oncology.
